There’s nothing more important for a pilot than to always plan ahead…
We are not even done with our eastbound Around-the-World Tour with the Cathay Pacific Cargo B747, and yet I already decided on how to spend the next months of virtual flying.
After returning to Anchorage in a little bit, I’m gonna switch employers and log some hours on the MD-11F, before they decide to revoke my Typerating.
With a mixture of FedEX and Lufthansa Cargo flightnumbers, I’m gonna fly westbound this time. From Anchorage to Osaka, on to Krasnoyarsk and via Frankfurt to Toronto, before returning to Anchorage.
Next on the schedule will be a short trip to Seoul, before flying via SFO and DEN to Frankfurt.
Since I really got into flying multi-leg-cargo flights, my next tour will be on LH Cargo’s South America Route. We kick it off in Frankfurt and after a short stop in Dakar, the destination will be Viracopos-Sao Paulo. Via Curitiba, Sucre, Bogota and Aguadilla we will return to Amsterdam and finally back to Frankfurt.
Like I said, always plan ahead! There’s not really much else to do on a cold and dark winter evening, but feeding your wanderlust…
